One of the biggest soul sellers on Record Store vinyl day was the limited edition 7″ pressing of the Tom Moulton mix of MARC STAGGERS’ ‘Bring It Home To Me’. The platter is a proper old fashioned soul record with the lovely, uplifting tune stretching out over the A and B sides.
Best described as a cross between prime time Luther Vandross and classic Lou Rawls, soul followers will know that the cut has been one of THE tunes of 2016 so far – destined to become a future collectors’ item.
We’re told that there are just a few copies of the limited edition left… so if you need one (stupid question!) you know what to do! Our spies in the record stores tell us there are only 20 copies left…..
