MARC STAGGERS’ ‘LET ME BE THE ONE’ has been one of THE tunes of 2016 and sure to figure in year end “best of” listings. Since release it been a permanent resident in the UK soul charts official top ten and spent plenty of weeks in the Sweet Rhythms chart’s top 5 too.
The Mont Plonc mix took the tune into Soulful House territory and now a previously unrelated Mont Plonc “Dirty Dub’ mix is winning even more friends for the tune…. it’s hard to track down, but if you like Soulful House with the emphasis on SOUL, it’s worth investigating.
We, little old conservatives that we are here at SOULANDJAZZANDFUNK, still love the Philly-inspired Nigel Lowis mix of the song… wonderful!
