Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, rising soul and funk aggregation, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, are currently in the middle of a seven-date UK tour. The seven-piece unit – led by the soulful, gospel-reared vocal tones of charismatic frontman, Paul Janeway – impressed on their debut LP, ‘Half The City,’ in 2014 and now, buoyed by the success of that album, return on Columbia with a new long player, ‘Sea Of Noise,’ due to be released in September.
The band can be seen in Manchester at the Academy 2 tonight (Weds 22nd June), Bristol’s Trinity (Thursday 23rd of June) and venture down to Somerset to appear at the legendary Glastonbury Festival on Friday 24th June. That’s followed by another gig at Concorde 2 in Brighton on June 25th before the band set off across the channel for a gig in Paris …
