Chicago-based Soul and R&B singer/entrepreneur SAINT JAIMZ (Stanley James Burton) is the main man behind Household Name Entertainment LLC and the set-up is currently promoting a trio of singles that will appeal right across the soul/R&B spectrum.
First up there’s a stately, old school soul cut, ‘Simple Man’ from California singer POPZ (aka Al Carey). Popz is something of a music biz veteran having worked with the J. C. Davis Band and the James Brown Band. He’s also worked with the Crowd Pleasers who, in the 70s, worked with legendary Detroit label, Westbound. Now aged 78, the aptly named Popz can still deliver as evidenced by the quite lovely ‘Simple Man’, which, we’re told is the title track to an upcoming EP.
The second new Household Name Entertainment release features Georgia soul crooner JCHOSEN (aka Joshua Hunter) and his cut is a thoroughly contemporary mid—tempo soul beater ‘What U Came 4’. Again it’s the lead cut from a three song EP aptly title ‘The Chosen One’. Listening in you can hear why he wowed judges on the 2017 season of the US series ‘The Voice’.
TONY MOSLEY is the marquee name on the third new Household Name Entertainment release. His track is a catchy ‘So Fly’ – an appealing soul/R&B dancer with rap input from Kaleo Ross.
