Sax man MARION MEADOWS’ latest album – ‘Soul City’ – due in February on Shanachie Records – is set to be his most soulful effort to date.
The LP’s title track has just won release a single and it’s a tight, infectious modern soul groove with classy input from guitar don, Norman Brown. Other guests on the album include Latrese Bush, Peter White and a certain Will Downing whose voice fronts the album’s big ballad ‘Be With You’.
