Soul histories will tell you that when it comes to soul clans few have been more talented and prodigious than the Womack family. And right now the family tradition is being carried on by the WOMACK SISTERS…. BG, Zeimani and Kucha. The three siblings are the daughters of Cecil and Linda Womack, nieces of Bobby Womack and granddaughters of someone called Sam Cooke! Yep, some pedigree!
The threesome live and work in Los Angles where they’ve been busy writing and recording material for their debut album. In the meantime the sisters have just released their first single – a cover of ‘Darling (Come Back Home)’. The tune boats a vintage, old school, rough-edged “Womack sound”…. little wonder, the song was originally recorded by the Valentinos and BG, Zeimani and Kucha do it full justice!
