On the crest of a renaissance, (with her latest album ‘Seven’ nestling in the top 20) the lovely LISA STANSFIELD has just released a brand new single. It’s the totally gorgeous ‘So Be It’. Always a standout on the album, the tune is classic Stansfield – encapsulating all the qualities we’ve come to love from Rochdale’s finest. It goes without saying that ‘So Be It’ is one of Lisa’s favourite cuts on the album: “This song is lovely to me. It’s all about being proud of being yourself and holding your head up high. We are what we are. So be it!”
Underlining her re-found status, Lisa will return to the UK stage in September with a 10 date UK tour. Starting in Birmingham on September 5th the tour will visit Gateshead, Manchester, Northampton, London, York, Glasgow, Reading and Southend before concluding in Guildford on September 17th. Lisa and her band will be performing songs from ‘Seven’ as well as classic hits from throughout her 25 year career.
