All kinds of soul folk found much to like in quirky soul/jazz chanteuse, SHEILA FORD’S recent album…. ‘Here You Are’. Released on DJ Spen’s Quantize Records, it featured a top line up of producers and mixers… amongst them Louie Vega, Dimitri From Paris, John Morales, the Muthafunkas and Spen himself.
One of the big tunes was the uplifting ‘Share’ and to ease us into the New Year, Spen and collaborator Earl Tutu have reworked it. They keep all the energy and eccentricity of the original and just add their signature insistent beats that should keep floors filled through till spring… at least!
