New Orleans soul man SARGENT TUCKER is a busy little bee – hot on the heels of his recent ‘Don’t You Blow It’ comes another gentle, insinuating single, ‘I’m In Need (For Your Touch)’.
We’re told that the track is taken from an upcoming long player, ‘Simply Sargent Tucker’ We believe that the song was actually recorded (like much of the promised album) in 2013 with longtime collaborator Levi Seacer. Label/legal disputes mean that Tucker is now back in control of his music so we can now enjoy ‘I’m in Need (For Your Touch)’ and if the rest of the upcoming LP matches its simple, effective quality, it’s something to look forward to.
