If you can cast your minds back to March you might remember we enjoyed an optimistic EP from UK soul man, TYRONE LEE. The mini album was ‘Memories Of Brazil’ and it was Mr L’’s (successful) attempt to marry the lithe, lively sounds of Brazil (a country he’d toured in) with his own soul sensitivities.
One of the EP’s big tunes was ‘Soul N Samba’ (it kind of summed what Tyrone was all about with the EP) and that tune’s now got even bigger as it comes at us in a new mix from top mixer/producer, MICHELE CHIAVARINI. He’s always had a passion for big Latin romps and he was actually part of the team that helped Tyrone craft the original EP, so he knows what the singer wanted and on the new mix he delivers again in fine style. The new iteration of ‘Soul N Samba’ is a huge party track that will run and run right through summer. Listen up to the bonkers horn break three minutes in!
It’s good to go right now on Traxsource via Spry Records. From June 2nd it’ll be on general release. Recommended!
