Berlin-based blue-eyed soulster, LIAM MOCKRIDGE has just released an intriguing new single, ‘Rise’.
“Intriguing” – well yes, because you see some of the lyrics are delivered in Japanese! It seems that earlier this year, Liam toured the Land of the Rising Sun and whilst there he teamed up with Japanese vocalist and Lo-Fi producer Taiyo Ky to make some music – and the result is ‘Rise’.
It’s a light, blue-eyed soul/pop confection with a an 80s feel and it’s somewhat poppier than Liam’s earlier singles. Like we said “intriguing”!
