Putney’s world-famous SOUL BROTHER RECORDS has some exciting in-store events this coming Saturday, April 22nd, which as most serious music fans will know is Record Store Day. GEORGIE B from GROOVE ASSOCIATION will be visiting the store at 2pm and noted UK singer, KENI STEVENS, will drop in for a signing session an hour later at 3pm.
SOUL BROTHER has also reissued two limited edition vinyl releases to mark the occasion – SUSAN PHILLIPS’ ultra rare and obscure ‘Soft Sexy Soul’ from 1971, and a HEADHUNTERS’ 45 whose A-side is the seminal 1975 track, ‘God Made Me Funky.’
