House heads need to introduction to the KEVIN HEDGE. His Blaze brand (with Josh Milan) in many ways defined what soulful house music was all about.
For his latest offering Kevin has teamed up with the wonderfully named Rick Galactik for an infectious slab of musical optimism, ‘Reach For The Stars’. The tune is stuffed with the classic signature sounds of Blaze – a tight, percussive groove, a meandering, jazzy melody and surprising instrumental breaks – lovely trumpet on this one! But checkout the “Flute” mix too, while the obligatory Dub mix gives a different perspective.
