The latest incarnation of the CHAIRMEN OF THE BOARD – with Ken Knox upfront – enjoyed lots of plays with ‘Reach Out 2 Me’. Originally released in 2015, the band toured the UK on the back of it and the song was so well received that soul mix meister Nigel Lowis gave it a new tweak – longer and with a whiff of Northern about it, it quickly became a soul club favourite.

Now without too much explanation, the song’s back again in a brand-new house mix courtesy of newly formed Italian dance duo BEATING CELLS, aka Severino Panzetta (yes, he of Horse Meat Disco) and Giacomo Moras. It seems that the pair came together in 2019 through their mutual  love for House/Disco & Electronic Music. They say their mix is aimed fairly and squarely at the upcoming Pride Season and you can hear where they’re coming from.

The new Beating Cells mix is released on Dog Day Records and label boss Wheeler del Torro says: “Remixed and reimagined, “Reach Out” creates a safe space for those who have been marginalized, undervalued, or forgotten. It is a work of heart, offering acceptance and support in the hopes of inspiring love and good will in its listeners”.

Chairmen Of The Board & Wheeler del Torro ‘Reach Out’ (Beating Cells Remix) will be released on Traxsource promo May 28th / Full release on June 11th, 2021 Dog Day Recordings.
