The emergence of DSG RECORDS has been one of the UK soul scene’s biggest success stories of the last couple of years. The label was the logical spin off from the DISCO SOUL GOLD (DSG) blog/website which is the brain child of UK soul veteran GARY VAN DEN BUSSCHE.
Young Gary’s been involved in the crazy world of UK soul for over 40 years – for 28 of those he ran his own soul club nights and DJ’d at the renowned Tramp nightspot.
Right now apart from running the mighty DSG empire, Gary is currently hosting his own show on Starpoint Radio, He broadcasts in the weekday (Monday- Thursday) mid morning spot (11 – 1) and it makes a great alternative to Ken Bruce and Jeremy Vine! Expect plenty of great and intriguing soul – old and new.
