REEL PEOPLE’S recent ‘Love 2’ album keeps on giving as the team gear up to release one of the set’s key tracks in a remix form. It’s ‘Déjà Vu’. The cut features RAHEEM DEVAUGHN on vocals and the new tweak comes courtesy of the ever-busy BLU LAB BEATS team (NK-OK & MR. DM).
Where the original ‘Déjà Vu’ was a neo-soul meander this new tweak features complex beat patterns proffering a jazzy, electro vibe. It’s what a remix should be… quite different to the original. So it’s not really déjà vu but it is ‘Déjà Vu’ if you see what I mean!
