Warner Bros in association with Prince’s NPG imprint have announced that on November 25th (November 22nd if you live in the USA) they’ll be releasing a 40-track best of compendium titled ‘Prince 4ever.’ It features some of the late singer’s most iconic records, including ‘When Doves Cry,’ ‘Let’s Go Crazy,’ ‘Kiss,’ ‘Little Red Corvette,’ ‘Purple Rain,’ ‘Raspberry Beret,’ ‘Sign O’ The Times,’ ‘Alphabet Street,’ ‘Batdance,’ and ‘Cream.’ There’s also a previously unissued song, ‘Moonbeam Levels,’ an outtake from 1982’s ‘1999’ album. An accompanying booklet features previous unseen photos of Prince by noted snapper, Herb Ritts.
In early 2017, Warner Bros have announced that they will release an expanded version of Prince’s classic movie soundtrack, ‘Purple Rain.’ It will come in two-disc format that includes previously unheard bonus material and its release was sanctioned by Prince before his death in April 2016.
