THE PINK FLAMINGO RHYTHM REVUE is the musical alter ego of Eric ‘Doc’ Mendelsohn. His specialty is what he calls “Nu Disco” . We last heard of the Revue on their collaboration with Swedish duo, The Drop Out Orchestra on their energized dancer ‘Get Busy’.
For his latest project Flamingo man Mendelsohn has teamed up with Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and instrumentalist Toribio (aka Cesár Toribio) to deliver a clever, building, bass-heavy dance tune, ‘Living The Fantasy’.
I guess you could file the tune under Nu Disco” and if that’s your bag, it’s released April 26th via Toucan Sounds.
