Soul and jazz’s newest shining star, GREGORY PORTER, has just announced that he’s to play London’s Albert Hall on Wednesday, October 30th.
Back in May, he headlined a sell-out show at the prestigious Cheltenham Jazz Festival and with his new album, ‘Liquid Spirit’ garnering rave reviews (see our reviews archive), tickets for the Albert Hall show are sure to be in huge demand.
For the show, Porter will be backed by his regular 5 piece band and Natalie Cole will be the support act. The show – Porter’s only UK show this time around – is part of the London Blues Festival which also features Bobby Womack, Van Morrison, Georgie Fame and many more. There will also be an All Star Tribute to Bobby Bland. For more details go to www.life.royalalberthall.com
