Unless you’ve been living on Mars, perhaps, you should be aware that Blue Note Records has been celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2019. There have already been several releases and events to celebrate the legendary New York jazz label’s birthday but now the Universal-owned company has announced the opening of a pop-up store in London. Located in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, its opening on Friday November 15th coincides with the launch of this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival.

The store will feature an array of Blue Note merchandise; from vinyl LPs, CDs and DVDs to books and even, for the well-heeled connoisseur,  exclusive items in the shape of framed canvas LP artwork.

There will also be live events and music performances at the store, to be announced later this week.
