Long-time member of family group, TAVARES, ARTHUR “POOCH” TAVARES recently suffered a stroke.
No real details have emerged but The Tavares’ Facebook page revealed the news thus:
“It is with deep regret that we inform you that our brother Pooch had recently suffered a stroke. In the interim, brother Ralph has graciously stepped in so that Pooch can take the necessary time to recover with the medical attention and therapy he needs. The show must go on and all concert dates will continue as scheduled.”
Ironically the stroke occurred when the band were busier than ever with almost constant live tours and Ralph comes back into the fold after something like thirty years out of the limelight.
