Back in February we gave a huge thumbs up to an album by ERIC “DEBONAIR” McNEIR, ‘This Could Be Love’. It was a proper old school soul treat and research revealed that Texan Eric is seen by many US commentators as a smooth, sophisticated, Luther Vandross sort of singer… “Debonair” if you would.
One of the LP’s highlights, ‘Pay Your Love Back’ has just won a remix courtesy of Taylor Pace and Norman MouseQuake Barrett. Don’t know anything ’bout them (save that Mr Pace is Eric’s co-writer and producer) but they do a great job on an already great modern soul tune…. a proper groove for all your summer soul parties we’d suggest!
