Everyone’s fave UK blue-eyed soul man, PAUL CARRACK will be releasing a new album on 17th September. The ten tracker is ‘One On One’ and will be available via Paul’s own Carrack-UK label. It’s Paul’s 18th solo album and the title reflects that he did (almost!) everything on it himslef. It was recorded in his own studio, most of the songs are his own, he’s the producer and arranger, he plays most of the instruments and he even mixed it all down!
There’s one, non-Carrack song on the album – a cover of Charlie Rich’s ‘Behind Closed Doors’ while there are cameo appearances from guitarist Robbie McIntosh and famed horn men Pee Wee Ellis, Dennis Rollins, Steve Beighton and Andy Greenwood. Bvs are down to Michelle John.
