‘Out Of Control’ is the latest single from US soulstress CANDACE WOODSON.We first heard of Candace back in 2015 when she released the insistent mid-tempo modern soul groove, ‘Free’. Intriguingly, Candace’s ‘Free’ was intensely personal. We learned that Ms W had, thankfully, just been given the all clear from a life threatening cancer.
Last year we enjoyed her ‘Desire’ long player and now she offers a new tune, which though recorded (we’re guessing) before the pandemic and the latest civil unrest and political disquiet is totally apposite for the times we live in. ‘Out Of Control’ is a soulful plea for us all to come together and pray to stop things going out of control… as she sings “the nation is lost for words”. The sombre musical backdrop perfectly matches the message in the music and the track is out now.
