A stunning, new collaboration between BRUNO MARS and ANDERSON.PAAK, using the moniker SILK SONIC is currently taking the US soul world by storm! Given the artists’ respective CVs that might sound surprising but their song, ‘Leave The Door Open’ is a wonderful old school ballad packed with emotion and yes, old fashioned soul! There’s a definite 70s vibe going on – a little bit Whispers, a little bit Moments, a little bit Philly… all good.
There are suggestions that the song is taken from an upcoming Silk Sonic album. If it is, we look forward eagerly to that.
