For his latest single, Brighton-based producer (Will) SUMSUCH (Marshall) has again linked up with Philly musician/ vocalist WILL BROCK. The pair have worked together for almost ten years now most recently on the single, ‘Don’t Know Where I’m Going’ which was recorded in West Philly during May 2022. The song dealt with home, ancestry, and what those words mean when you’re black in America.
The duo’s new collaboration is a hypnotic ‘LoA (Land of America)’ and this one too explores the experiences of being black in modern America. The dreamlike cut delivers a deep house vibe and features spoken-word vocals. There’s also a warmer, smoother mix from Australian producer Dave Leck but none of the message in the music is lost!
