MATT BIANCO are a fluid British band that were formed in 1982 by Mark Reilly. Their calling card was a smooth and slick take on Latin jazz which saw them enjoy a run of chart hits like ‘Half A Minute’, ‘Don’t Blame It On That Girl’ and a version of ‘Yeh Yeh’.
The band (in different iterations) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion, main man Mark Reilly has re-mixed and/or re-recorded 30 of the band’s songs for a just released ‘The Essential Matt Bianco – Re-Imagined, Re-Loved’.
All the hits are here of course alongside album tracks and other tunes that are personal favourites of Reilly’s – including a sweet and lovely Joey Negro mix of ‘Half A Minute’.
THE ESSENTIAL MATT BIANCO – RE-IMAGINED, RE-LOVED is out now!
