NOSTALGIA 77 – the quirky studio alter ego of composer/guitarist Benedic Lamdin – release their fifth studio album on 10th February. The LP’s entitled ‘A Journey Too Far’ and for the bulk of the 11 tracks Lamdin has teamed up with German singer Josa Peit. The atmospheric lead single, ‘An Angel With No Halo’ has already won UK air play from taste makers like Jamie Cullum, Huey Morgan and Stuart Maconie. The song sums up the feel of the LP…. eerie and unique, described by some as “psychedelic soul-folk-noir”.

The album’s other featured vocalist is country singer Jeb Loy Nichols who adds his distinct tones to two tunes of which the country-gospel ‘My Lord’ stands out.

NOSTALGIA 77’S ‘A JOURNEY TOO FAR’ is released on Tru Thoughts Records on February 10th.
