It’s a quality contemporary soul cut with provocative lyrics that echo Martin Luther King’s famous comment about the criminality of turning a blind eye to injustice . The song delivers that tough message in a gentle way and there’s a jazzy undertow, not surprising given Kathy’s background. The brassy backing is memorable too – might remind you of Tower Of Power in their more mellow moments. Out now and recommended!
