Cult Californian Chicano ballad specialists, THEE HEART TONES have built up quite a head of steam ahead of the release of their album ’Forever & Ever’ (above) which is due later this month. We’ve already enjoyed a series of soulful singles which, we’re guessing, will all feature on the LP and with the album imminent, the band have issued another single!
It’s yet another slow dancer, ‘Don’t Take Me As A Fool’ and indeed its built from all the ingredients that have made the band’s previous singles so appealing – sweet and innocent lyrics, pained anguish, naïve but soulful vocal and sweet supporting harmonies. This one’s out now via Big Crown.
