FRANKIE FLOWERZ (aka Mohan Das) is a Malaysian born, now Berlin-based music maker. He’s a renowned DJ, producer, event organiser and label owner, who delivers across a diverse musical spectrum. He’s been in the biz for almost 40 years and has over 7,500 stage appearances in his locker! His eclectic tastes see him offer Soul, Funk, Disco, Deep House and Techno at his various residencies – most notably the fames Electric Monday, bash at the Kitkat Club, Berlin.
If you want to sample what Mr F’s been peddling so successfully for such a long time, may we point you to his latest album – ‘Nightride’. It’s a BIG affair – 21 tracks, taking in his take on soul, funk, disco and contemporary dance.
Right now the focus tracks appear to be the quirky, electro funker ‘Do You Know’, the soulful groover, ‘Live The Moment’ and the more intense ‘Spend Some Tome’ with passionate vocals from Robert Owens .
‘Nightride’ is Frankie’s third studio album and he describes it as “a culmination of unearthed and re-imagined treasures found in my archives, alongside a whole host of exciting new material that I’ve written over the past few years”.
‘Nightride’ Album will be released on April 19th on Funkhausmusic.
