UK mix master NIGEL LOWIS has been busy lately (what’s new?). He’s just completed a tasty remix of HIL ST SOUL’S ‘A Feeling So Beautiful’. The song was co-written with uber soul producer, Regi Myrix and his original mix was percussive but laid back.
Now, for his tweak, Nigel loses some of the syncopation and adds a sort of rumbling ‘Nights Over Egypt’ feel to the intro. Like all good remixes, Nigel essentially creates a new tune but Hilary’s heartfelt and soulful vocal is still the star of the show!
‘A Feeling So Beautiful’ will feature on Hil St Soul’s upcoming album… but which mix will be there? Wait and see!
