Following the critical success of last year’s ‘Gaslight’ CD, fDELUXE – the Minneapolis-based band formerly known as THE FAMILY and comprising Susannah Melvoin, ‘St Paul’ Peterson, Eric Leeds and Jellybean Johnson – are back with a brand new single. It’s called ‘You Got What You Wanted‘ and is a barnstorming slice of propulsive horn-driven funk with shared lead vocals from Peterson and Melvoin.
It’s available now as an MP3 from all the usual download platforms but can be acquired in a limited edition CD format from the group’s own website and features the single version plus several different mixes plus an extended six-minute album mix of ‘Drummers And Healers.’
