KENYA’S’ My Own Skin’ was one of 2015’s best indie soul sets and since then Ms Johnson has dropped a series of remixed cuts from the long player as tempting tasters for a whole “Remix” album that’s slated for a November release on Expansion. We’re told that the album will feature mixes from people Mark de Clive Lowe, Opolopo, Khari Cabral Simmons, Daz I Kue and Julius Speed while we’ve already heard mixes from Tom Glide and Sean McCabe.
Now to keep up the momentum, Kenya has released another new “mix”. This time the tune is the jazzy ‘Never Giving Up’ and the mix comes courtesy of the Edgewood Agents who keep things loose and jazzy.
