Been a good few weeks for fans of the chill out tune. Maybe it’s this current sunny spell but we’ve been almost inundated with a plethora of sweet laid-back, lo-fi grooves.
Latest to intrigue us is ‘Belong’ from Croatian trio, EESKRA. The tune offers a delicate vocal delivery from Yannah and Petar with a gentle, sympathetic arrangement from Ilija. It’s a proper little summer sun, soul relaxant.
The song comes in a number of mixes. We like the lazy vibe of the original but the tighter North Street West mix has a lot to commend it – gentle flavours of Loose Ends, S.O.S Band and Cool Notes.
