A year after grabbing a Grammy for her last album ‘Turn To Blue’ – and 52 years on from her recording debut for Dot Records back in 1956 – the legendary jazz chanteuse NANCY WILSON suffered a collapsed lung on Monday 31st March. The 71-year-old singer was hospitalised as a result and has had her lung re-inflated. Between 1962 and 1994, Ohio-raised Wilson enjoyed a string of US R&B hits, including ‘You’re As Right As Rain,’ a Top 10 smash on Capitol Records in 1974. It’s hoped that she will make a full recovery.
