UK soul folk first got to know about US soul man AARON CAMPER via his collaboration with Eric Roberson, ‘Far Away Girl’. Since then Aaron’s worked with people like Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown as well as providing the opening theme music for ‘The Queen Latifah Show’.
The son of a preacher man, Aaron was brought up in Salisbury, Maryland and he cites his influences as The Winans, Al Green and someone called Phil Collins (!).
He learned his craft around the Philly studios of Larry Gold before moving on to sing sessions and collaborate with some top names.
Aaron’s currently putting the finishing touches to his upcoming LP, from which a catchy single ‘Choose You’ has just become available. It’s a snappy little thing that bustles along at contemporary pace with femme input from Brave.
