‘Pick Up The Pieces’, ‘Cut The Cake’, ‘Atlantic Avenue’, ‘Let’s Go Round Again’ … great tunes from a great band! Yep, Scotland’s finest – THE AVERAGE WHITE BAND – have been doing it for over forty years and the boys are still recording and touring.
Of course, in four decades the band has gone through numerous personnel changes, fallings out and makings up. The original AWB “brand” is currently being kept alive by founding members Alan Gorrie and Onnie McIntyre. However, we’re told that three more originals… Hamish Stuart, Steve Ferrone and Molly Duncan are working together again in a new outfit, THE 360 BAND. They’re working on a debut album and the first single is being prepared for release…. it’s a soulful mid tempo groove, ‘Mighty Fall’.
