It seems to be a week for soul dreamers. After Mather and Kingdon’s newie (see post below) Milwaukee soul man KENT BUTLER now launches his latest single, ‘Dreaming’. Sadly, as is often the way with indie artists, we don’t know too much about Mr Butler save for his Wisconsin roots.
However, his people tell us that Kent is a dedicated artist determined to learn the soul craft the hard way, rather than via the TV talent show route and ‘Dreaming’ shows his potential. It’s an upbeat, lively number with and old school feel, a catchy hook and a great sax solo from producer Felton Pilate. Out now!
