Cool Million’s ROB HARDT “discovery”, MARIAMA CEESSAY turned a lot of soul heads with her recent single ‘Soon Ending Story’.
The tune came in a number of mixes with the house flavoured Robyn Lazlo mix winning lots of dance floor action. Now that’s set to be superseded by a proper “Cool Million” mix. Dubbed the” ’79 Mix”, this new tweak harks back to the great days of the Soul Weekender, and, wisely, I’d say, the team drop the somewhat sombre original opening in favour of tight beats and a grumbling bass line.
