Just last month the delightful TERRI GREEN PROJECT (essentially sax man/keyboardist/producer/ writer and Euro muso, TODDI REED (real name Torsten Abrolat) and Washington born soul diva TERRI GREEN.) hit us with the equally delicious ‘Sneaking Out’ – a massive, summer soul groove that featured the N.W.O. Horns (whose Lenny Harris worked with the Phenix Horns) and guitar maestro Fountain Burnett.
The original was premier league stuff while the remix from DJ/producer Peter Brown was equally irresistible – just upping the tempo and the energy.
And now… yes, 2 more remixes; this time courtesy of FRANK BLYTHE known for his work on past singles for the Project, ‘Giving It Up’ and ‘What A Feeling’ as well as his work with Sybil, and iconic dance producer, Steve “Silk” Hurley . His takes (“Funk U” and “4Q”) mixes on ‘Sneaking Out’ are full of 80s weekender flavours … just in time for the hot weekender season and club dance floors (if allowed, of course!). Summer rarely sounded so good. Out now!
