It was back in May that we discovered a new album from US soul man RAI. ‘Love’s On The Way’ was/is a well-crafted, beautifully produced modern soul set that still sounds good and will, I’m sure, be in the year’s best album listings.
We still don’t know too much about RAI but since the album release he’s issued some great mixes off the album’s lead cuts. Now he’s just released mix of the enigmatic ‘Here I Am’. The new working comes courtesy of Alex Di Cio and he retains the same air of mystery and soulful, intrigue…. recommended.
