MORE MORRISON

Polydor/Exile have just released the latest batch of albums in their 2008 VAN MORRISON re-issue programme. This time around they’re bringing back eight MORRISON albums – all fully remastered and each featuring bonus tracks. The eight are 1974’s ‘Veedon Fleece’, 1980’s ‘Common One’, ‘Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart from 1983, 1984’s live set recorded at the Belfast Grand Opera House, 1986’s ‘No Guru, No Method, No Teacher’, ‘Enlightenment’ from 1990′ , a second live set – 94’s ‘A Night In San Francisco” and ‘The Healing Game’ which was originally issued in 1997. No one single album, let alone a single track can ever reveal the true spirit, soul and creative genius of the Ulsterman, though if you listen carefully to ‘Rave On John Donne’ from the magnificent ‘Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart’ you might just make a small start.
