Hot off the back of their last soul hit, ‘Show Me’, MCCREI (sisters Leanne and Shannon McCree) are all set to release a new single. It’s the ultra infectious ‘Take My Hand’ and it will be available from October 5th on DSG Records
The song’s been written by the girls with input from Nigel Lowis (whom first came to fame with Dina Carroll) and the whole thing’s been produced by Allan Glass (whose previous production credits include work with Whitney Houston, George Benson and Aretha!).
The tune’s a breezy pop/soul confection and given Lowis’s love of all things Philly there’s a definite whiff of the Sigma sound to proceedings though there’s also a liberal garnish of Chic flavours. That cocktail is sure to keep dance floors lively though the coming autumn!
