2015 ended strongly for UK soul entrepreneur DEE MAJEK. Using his KEJAM alias his tunes were all over the place – play listed on all the best soul stations and filling sophisticated and discerning modern soul rooms everywhere.
Dee gets into his 2016 stride with two new tunes that continue where his 2015 classics left off. First up is the sedate and stately ‘Start All Over’. Boasting a lovely old school melody, there’s just a hint of romance about it; then there’s the equally gentle, ‘2 Can Play’. A subtle mid—tempo groove, it proves that great soul’s still on the 2016 menu.
Vocalist on both tracks is the soulful Terry Harris whose mellifluous tones graced Kejam’s 2015 biggie, ‘Diamonds’.
Both these new Kejam songs will be available from February 14th… the perfect date for a pair of sweet, romantic grooves!
