Over the last couple of years, UK duo DOWN TO EARTH (Lol Williams and Stevie Paul ) have made quite a name for themselves with some quality singles and a wonderful ‘Still Riding High’ album. So, it’s good to have ‘em back with a new single… the just out ‘In The Shadows Of The Night’.
Many commentators have commented that the track has a feel of vintage Maze about it and you can’t argue with that. In The Shadows Of The Night’has that odd but lovely lazy/urgent laid back feel that Maze seemed to do so well. Listen up too to a very Maze-y keyboard solo three and a half minutes in.
‘In The Shadows Of The Night’, we’re told, will feature on Down To Earth’s second album due this summer. Something to look forward to!
