WHITNEY HOUSTON’S latest album is scheduled for October release and speculation has been rife about its direction … well, if the lead single is anything to go by ‘I Look To You’ will be a spectacular return to form for the one-time, all-conquering diva. That new single, you see, is a totally irresistible slab of pop/soul – ‘Million Dollar Baby’. Tellingly, it’s written by ALICIA KEYS and features a generous sample from LOLEATTA HOLLOWAY’S Salsoul classic ‘We’re Getting Stronger’. Reminiscent of WHITNEY’S modern soul classic ‘Fine’, it clearly shows that the lady can still cut it.
