Rhino Records have announced an imminent release of a previously unreleased MILES DAVIS live album…. ‘Merci Miles! Live At Vienne’. The release is part of Rhino Records’ upcoming Black Music Month.
The concert from which the recording comes took place on July 1st, 1991, at the Jazz à Vienne festival in France. Sadly, it was one of his last concerts before passing away on September 28th of that year. The concert included two songs written by Prince – ‘Penetration’ and ‘Jailbait’.
‘Merci Miles! Live At Vienne’ will be released on June 25th .
