Jamaican reggae musician MICHAEL “IBO” COOPER died on Thursday 12th October. He was 71 and had been battling cancer.
Keyboardist Cooper was a member of both Inner Circle and Third World whose best known outing was the cross over hit ‘Now That We Found Love’- a cover of an O’Jays’ song. In later life Cooper became a music educator working as head of the Caribbean, Latin American and jazz department at a performing arts school in Kingston, Jamaica.
