The Rufus/Chaka Khan anthem ‘Ain’t Nobody’ is one of those tunes that defies description. By that I mean that it’s almost impossible to explain its magic. It has a timeless quality and whenever and wherever it’s played it gets people up dancing and prancing… no half decent DJ (serious or wedding) would never go out without a copy in his/her box!
If, however, you fancy a different spin on the song, try ‘Makes Me Feel This Way’ from NAIROBI featuring Madcon and Tima Dee. Nairobi is a Swedish production team (T.I Jakke and Karl-Ola Kjellholm) who use the chassis of the Rufis classic to craft ‘Makes Me Feel This Way’. It’s a playful re-imagining with Tima Dee on vocals and rap unput from Madcon – and it’s that which might upset the purists. But for sure it’s different and if you want to investigate, it’s out now!
